Panicale Pasta in Connecticut

"We had the closest pizza to what we enjoyed on the Amalfi Coast last summer, it was fantastic. Everything else we ordered was also very fresh and delicious. The restaurant was incredibly accommodating as well. It has become one of our favorite spots for pizza and pasta."

"We had a great family dinner at Panicale in Fairfield. I brought my two kids (ages 7 and 8), and everyone left happy and full. The fried artichokes were a standout — perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside. We shared a plain cheese pizza, which had a really nice crust and light sauce (a bit soft in the middle, but that’s part of its charm). I had the pasta alla Norma — a perfect balance of spice and sweetness with fried eggplant and a dollop of ricotta that tied it all together beautifully. The kids had spaghetti al burro and spaghetti with meatballs, and both were solid hits. The only real downside was the pacing — it took about an hour and twenty minutes from when we sat down to when we left, which felt slow for a casual dinner. Hard to tell if it was just an off night. That said, everything tasted great, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back, maybe on a night when we’re not in a hurry!"

"Panicale is awesome! The pasta is very high quality and the sauces are super rich and flavorful. They have flights of wine which is really fun and unique. I've sat inside at the bar and also at their outside seating area, both were great experiences. Inside is high energy and louder and the outside is calm and quieter. Last time I was there the server (maybe the manager) went above and beyond and basically gave our group a personal wine tasting experience to help us decide what wines to choose. You can't ask for better service than that - we will definitely be back soon!"

"Checked this place out a couple weeks ago with my girlfriend and we are both huge fans! The pasta dishes are like no other I've had locally and the menu, selection and potions are right on target. Absolutely delicious! I will definitely return for the food alone. Add to that the exceptional service from the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and the decor is fantastic! They clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the look and set up of the place. Big score for menu, quality of food, service and decor! Definitely check it out!"

"Loved it the market itself has a great , trendy vibe with gorgeous natural wood tables, artwork made from fresh moss and a variety of food offerings from Italian to sushi , juices and smoothies and a full bar with big screen tv. Panicale food was so good. The pasta was really fresh and the sauces were delicious. They have an authentic pizza oven imported from Italy and we got 2 pizzas to go. They look amazing . It is definitely a five star experience"

"Quite the hidden gem! You could almost miss this restaurant tucked back from the road, but I’m so glad my husband and I came here for a date night. The homemade pastas were fantastic, with so many great dishes to choose from on the menu. Even the pizza and dessert were fantastic. A small spot where you’ll definitely want to make a reservation, no matter which day of the week it is."

"There was an hour wait for a table for 2 but we got a spot at the bar right away. Service was excellent. Bartenders suggested amazing wines and let us sample them before ordering. We got the fried artichoke, the meatballs, the bucatini and the tortelloni: all of the food was exceptional. Pasta portions for the price are a little small but well worth it for the quality. Personally I feel the pasta is by far the best in Fairfield. Perfectly Al-dente pasta with simple, authentic Italian flavors and ingredients. Definitely will be back and recommending to everyone."
